Hearing Loss

The Hearing Loss Experience Journal is a collection of stories, pictures, and personal experiences contributed by children, teens, and young adults who are deaf or hard of hearing and their families. It represents the “collective wisdom” of these families as well as their health care providers. A group of parents and health care providers has reviewed all of these contributions for appropriateness.

The Experience Journal was created by Boston Children’s Hospital. We welcome family members to enter and explore these contributions about deaf or hard of hearing children, adolescents, young adults, and their families.

The Journal has the following chapters:

The goal of the Hearing Loss Experience Journal is to facilitate the strength and resiliency that lies in every child and family facing adversity.
