How to Apply for the Pediatric Surgery Fellowship

Candidates applying to the pediatric surgery fellows should apply online through ERAS – the electronic residency application services which is a centralized online application service.  You will be able to upload your application along with the supporting documents.

Application Requirements

  • Doctorate of Medicine
  • Completion of chief residency in an approved general surgery residency
  • Eligibility to take qualifying examination in General Surgery
  • Passes American Board of Surgery In-training examination
  • Advanced Trauma Life Support Certification
  • Ability to obtain a Massachusetts state medical license

The following materials are required to complete your application:

  • Curriculum vitae
  • Brief personal statement
  • Three letters of recommendation
  • ABSITE scores

Candidates must be registered with the National Resident Matching program (NRMP).

Candidates who are offered a personal interview will be reimbursed up to $500 for their travel expenses to Boston by the Department.
