Donation Guidelines

Child Life Services at Boston Children’s Hospital would like to thank you for thinking of the patients at Boston Children’s Hospital. Your thoughtfulness will bring so much joy to our patients and families. Here are the Donation Guidelines to consider before you make your generous donation.

Being in the hospital can be difficult any time of year, but can be even more challenging around a holiday, so your donations allow us to bring a bit of warmth and wonder to our families' celebrations. Thanks to our generous community, we often receive an abundance of gifts during the holidays. Our primary goal is to ensure Boston Children's patients at our main campus and satellite locations receive donated gifts, however, if we receive more than we can use at Boston Children's, we would like to share the holiday cheer with other Boston-area medical facilities and charitable organizations. For the 2018 holiday season, Boston Children's will accept gift donations through Friday, December 14. Please contact Child Life Services at to schedule an appointment to drop off donations through December 14. We appreciate your generosity, not only during the holiday season, but also year-round. We have put this deadline in place to allow staff to prepare for the holiday season and hospital programming for our patients and families.
